On 11th and 12th August 2007, there will be an amazing event on Charminster Road, between Heron Court Road and Alma Road -> The Charminster International Festival

Charminster is a well-known area in Bournemouth because of its cosmopolitan atmosphere. There are a lot of International markets, bars and restaurants.
That is why for one weekend, Charminster will host this International Festival to celebrate the area’s multicultural mix.

At this event, you will enjoy having the opportunity to try different foods, discover many activities organised by international students, locals’ artists and ethnic groups.

At the Charminster International Festival, you can: 

- Buy international foods 
- See cooking demonstrations
- Exchange recipes
- Listen to live music
- See several shows such as a Chinese Dragon Show for the opening, belly dance and salsa… performed by foreign students and locals groups.

For Children there will be games, dance competitions, face painting and a penalty shootout!!!
