Did you know that this historical event took place in Brownsea Island, in Poole Harbour, Dorset?
That is why there was the biggest celebration in the history of the Scout Association for celebrating the 100th anniversary last weekend. Brockenhurst became a city of tents. There were 600 Scouts from all over the world.
Apart from renewing their promise and to read out their principles there were a lot of other activities, for example climbing, skiing and scuba diving.
