Boscombe is an area in the east of Bournemouth that started to develop in 1865 and it is now a major commercial, cultural and tourist part of Bournemouth with a beautiful beach, a pier and many shops and cafés, among other attractions. Boscombe is 1.5 miles from Bournemouth town centre and has approximately 17,000 inhabitants.
